Building Gigantic Lists With Simple and Free Traffic Methods
By Gen Wright
Do you want to build a huge list? Everyone is talking about list building because it is the wise thing to do. When you have the contacts of your customers, you can always go back to them and make more sales.
Those without a list will find themselves out of an income source if their traffic source dried up. However, if you have a list, you will be inconvenienced but you will still have income.
That sounds good, but the problem is, many marketers find it hard to build a huge list online. Most can’t even get past the 500 leads mark. So what seems to be the problem here?
The problem, apparently, is traffic generation. When it comes to online traffic, there are 2 types - free and paid. Of course, free methods doesn’t mean that it’s totally free. You just have to spend more of your own time driving traffic, and time is never free. But for the sake of discussion, let’s refer to unpaid traffic as free traffic.
To drive traffic, you don’t have to learn magic or go into voodoo or anything like that. Many marketers make traffic generation look like a magic trick, but it is not. You just have to see through all that hype to find out what works.
I’ve personally found that what works doesn’t have to be complicated. Here are some free traffic methods that anyone can use to drive traffic - and they are not complicated at all!
Method 1: Forum traffic.
This is an underused traffic method - reason being many people are lazy to post in forums. But huge forums with thousands of members can be a gold mine. You just have to offer them something valuable in exchange for their money.
Method 2: Article marketing.
Articles can be used as baits to attract targeted visitors. Write about something that you are passionate about and share your knowledge with others. If they find that they can resonate with what you are talking about, they will click on your links and visit your website - free traffic for you!
Method 3: SEO.
This takes a little more time to see results if your site is new. That’s because you have to wait for the results to update in the various data centers. That may sometimes take months. But if you are patient and have the dedication, organic traffic can be a great source of long term traffic. And you don’t have to pay a single cent!
Method 4: Free classifieds.
This is one of the oldest tricks in the book! There are dozens of free classifieds sites on the Internet. One of the most popular is Craigslist. It’s a well established classified sites with millions of visitors each month. Think if online classifieds as a close substitute for print classifieds. Usually, whatever works for print classifieds will work well for online classifieds as well.
All four methods above are free, but they do require a bit of effort. All the methods are simple enough, so anyone can just pick them up and use them.

Want to Be an Entrepreneur? Do You Have What it Takes to Succeed?
By Gen Wright
The economy is down and everyone is talking about job losses. Perhaps the downturn has affected you as well. Losing confidence in having a job can dampen anyone’s spirit. Don’t let that happen to you. The road ahead is bright.
As the saying goes, “One closed door leads to another.” In other words, it’s the end of one road, but it’s the dawn of a brand new road.
Perhaps you have been asking yourself lately if you should go into business for yourself. After all, your job didn’t treat you all that well. When the market goes down, there goes your job. Now you want to be sure that the same thing don’t happen again. And one way of doing so is to become an entrepreneur.
The problem is, you have never been in business for yourself. So how do you know whether you have what it takes to succeed. So many people have started businesses and failed. If you are going into business for yourself, how is it going to be different?
Well, all those are valid questions. Like everyone else, you have mouths to feed and bills to pay. So your next decision could have a major impact on the next few years of your life.
If you find your faith wavering, consider the following attributes. If you have these attributes, then the odds are in your favor and you should probably strike out.
* You are a persistent person and you never give up. The never say die attitude is very important. If you give up too easily, you will never amount to much. So are you a persistent person? If you are, success may be knocking on your door sooner than you think.
* You can business savvy. Your past experience should have give you the adequate experience to run a business. Business itself is simple. Today, teenagers are starting Internet businesses and earning thousands of dollars each month. It’s just simple mathematics - subtract the costs from your revenues and you keep the profits. Don’t make things overly complicated. If you can count and do simple maths, then yes, consider yourself to be business savvy.
* You have resources to tap into when needed. Let’s face it. Everyone needs to eat and pay the bills. Don’t strike out on your own if you can’t even afford to buy food. In this case, you need some kind of job (even part time is better than nothing) to keep you going. Of course, you know in your heart that it’s just a temporary situation. If you are going into business for yourself, make sure that you have resources to last for at least 6 months.
* You have the killer instinct. Entrepreneurs act quickly while the iron is hot. In other words, are you a man of action? Can you walk the talk? Are you prepared to be committed to your business and DO whatever it takes to bring in the dough quickly? Just look deep within yourself for the answer. Only you know the truth about yourself.
